Weymouth Veteran's Parade 2004
20th June - The band is honoured to have been chosen to perform at the Weymouth Veteran's Rendezvous
- 11am Service at the Cenotaph
- March to the Pavillion
- 20 minute static performance
11.15 am - Dorchester Carnival Band are the 5th band in the parade with the British Legion contingent.
The bands in the parade are
- Dolphin Military Band - Poole
- Wessex Military Band
- Romford British Legion
- Wellingborough Military Band
- Dorchester Carnival Band
- Ringwood Pipe Band
- Weymouth Sea Cadets
The Dorchester Carnival Band were proud to have been asked to represent Dorchester, and lead one of the sections in the Veterans' Parade along the Weymouth front.
We have tried to put together a set of photographs to give a sample of the atmosphere and pride in the dignified presence of the Veterans of the world conflicts.
There is no way that a straightforward photographic record can match the atmosphere - we just hope you like what you see here. It is impossible to show everything that went through the parade....................here are some of the images.
